Retrieve information on related records with a saved search

Is it possible to retrieve information on related records with a saved search?


For example, suppose an invoice transaction is associated with a sales order.

Is it possible to display the list of sales order from a saved search and retrieve the value of the invoice associated with that sales order?

If not, are there other methods?
