Why is there an error on setting field value via scheduled script?

I am trying to set custom body field value using scheduled script in sales order record , i am getting error " Please configure inventory details for line 1 in item list " on the script . But when i try to edit and save the sales order record manually system is allowing me to save the record. Can any one help me to over come this error
