Why is the new Number Format not reflecting on Basic PDF Printouts?

Hi,


If I'm currently using the basic transaction pdf layout, and need to change numbers formatting, is there any way to do that in the layout or even through preferences.

When I tried to change the user or general preferences, it didn't effect the layout.
