How to Remove Additional Characters in List Field From Custom Record

I have a strange one. I have a list/custom record and it shows this.

But when it shows in a sublist, I see this.

It puts an 'A' after it and it also shows in the list.

I have no idea why this is! Any help would be appreciated.
