Vendor duplicate not working properly
Hi guys,
We have vendor duplicate detection for Company name and email (domain only). This was setup in the past via Setup->Company->Duplicate detection
I have noticed quite some errors in the past months while my team registered new vendors that already existed.
I tried the following test in the Sandbox:
- I marked the vendor called ''Swapfiets BV'' as ''inactive'' in the vendor record.
- I tried to create a vendor called ''Swapfiets'' and NetSuite let me do it. It was quite concerning that I did not get any warning.
- I checked the vendor list in relationships and the new vendor is not even marked as ''duplicate'' by the system.
