How to create GP by Sales Rep?

Hello there, i'm trying to create a basic Saved Search with only two columns, Sales Rep and GP % to date this year based on the gross profit % on Order received Opps in the Opportunity record, with the Actual Close date as Jan-Dec 2023 as criteria, i thought this would be relatively simple, but have tried both Opp and Transaction searches with no success, would be grateful if anyone could help, i would like to add this to my Dashboard as a simple graph so very frustrating that this data can't be easily pulled, thanks.
