Minimum Pick Quantity
How would I efficiently deal with this situation in NetSuite with WMS and Advanced Manufacturing.
The customer has an ingredient which is stored in bags of 1 Kg, this is a UOM in the system, the base unit on the item is 500g. Because the ingredient is stored in bags of 1 Kg it can only be picked in 1kg Units.
However the recipe calls for 9.5 Kg on the ingredient. This means that the picker has to pick 10 bags, but only 9.5 will be used.
The questions are;
- If the Work Order requires 9.5 kg what will the quantity displayed to the picker if the storage unit is 1 Kg.
