Discounts on POs for item matching with Tipalti

Good morning.

We have NS with a Tipalti Integration for AP and 3-way line matching.

This requires that every line on an invoice be matched to a disparate line on the PO. We are having issues with matching Oracle invoices. :-)

Some of our Oracle invoices have more than one discount - at different percentage levels. Over a sample of 3 Oracle invoices, we have 4 different discount levels. Would the proper/best way to do this be to create several discount items based on percentages? Is it possible to create items in Netsuite with a negative per unit cost, ie. item A-1234 for 1000 units at -$1.00 per unit?
