How to: Set up environment with "Dealers" and "End-Users" in NetSuite
We're moving into NetSuite from a patchwork of on-prem systems.
We manufacture Lab Furniture that is sold exclusively through Dealers to End-Users. All of our $$ transactions are with the Dealers as they send us POs for drop shipments. It makes sense that "Dealers" = "Customers" in NS-speak.
When leads and opportunities arise - they are sometimes end-user based ("We need tables") and sometimes Dealer originated ("We have a client that needs tables"). We would like to nurture both instances into an order. Easy with the "Dealer/Customer" - but unsure of best scheme for handling end-users.
We need:
- Opportunity tracking, nurturing, oversight, and reporting - with either entity type.
