Merging Subsidiaries
Hi There
I understand that merging subsidiary records is not possible. (https://suiteanswers.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/39985/kw/39985)
However, I am looking for a workaround for this.
Namely, does anyone have any experience with this and, if so, how did they accomplish this?
The scenario is: company A is the parent.
company B and company C are the child subsidiaries.
Company B and Company C are going to be merged in the 'real world' as one legal entity.
What would be the best way to do this in Netsuite?
Would it be to create a new subsidiary that has all of the entity records for company A and company B?
