How to disable Item for sale but remain enable for Purchase?
We are a trading company, we buy from many vendors and resell to customers. We have 2 items (ie: product 123 and 123a) having a very similar name, users always confuse it. Due to the confusion, we end up having the 2 items both carrying certain quantity on hand in several warehouses. I cannot merge the item because there's some compliance restriction. Now I am planning to deactivate/disable one item so that I can clear off the inventory in the shortest time due to batch quality issue. How do I,
1) Disable the sale of product 123a (new Sales Order) but keep it enable for purchase?
