Income Statement Report Rows by Department

in Ask A Guru 4 comments

I have developed an income statement where the rows are departments under the expense section versus accounts. The current Department structure is in a parent child format. In order to show the amounts, in the row for Research and Development, for example, in the section header in the submenu row of the report, all the departments are added for that filter on the report.

Is there any to add a range of departments versus adding them 1 by 1?
