Manufacturing mobile autonumbering

hi community!

I'm facing an issue.. that I'm not sure if it's customization related or limitation..

I have lot autonumbering set to assemblies when built.. and works perfectly in UI but in MM is asking me for the lot number.. it's not assigning the lot as per rules..

is this a limitation? or something is missing? I couldn't find any documentation related to this.
