improving site performance

Hello,

I have been conducting tests with Pagespeed Web Dev, and our FCP/LCP appears to be failing.

I understand the reasons for it, and am looking to address those. Such ideas are implementing a lazy loader, and pull sitebuilder thumbnail images over the associated image.

Most of the issues seem to be revolving around the shopping.js file, I have tried to minify the JS after deployment and that broke the site. I was reading through the performance checklist, and I need more clarification and insight.

Keep the number of facets to a minimum. OOTB limit is 40.
