Months closing AR/AP
To summarize, when I close AR & AP for the month of May on June 1st, I don’t want anyone except the controller to be able to post to the general ledger in May. However, if after I close AR & AP we receive vendor invoices dated in May, I want to allow the actual invoice date to be entered, and allow that invoice to post in a future month by AR and AP managers
- Restriction on Posting to a Closed Month:
- After closing AR & AP for a given month, only the controllers should have the ability to post to the general ledger for that closed month.
