Supply allocation date logic
Hello,
I am trying to understand the logic NS uses for determining the expected ship date on work orders linked to sales orders.
I have a sales order with at Expected Ship Date and Supply Required by Date of 6/9/24
On the work order I have the following dates.
Supply Required by Date of 6/9/24
Expected Supply Date 9/8/24 (non late items)
Production Start Date 1/8/24 (forward scheduling)
Planned Component Issue Date (1/8/24 or as in line with routing)
How is it that the expected supply date is later than the production start date? If I change the Supply Required Date to 1/8/24 then the Supply Required Date moves to 4/7/24. What is the calculation that is being performed to determined these dates?
