How do you perform a Mass Balance (In/Out) Audit in NetSuite?
NetSuite Item #????? (Widget)
- What was the inventory level for Item: #????? on 2/5/2024?
- What was the inventory level for Item: #????? on 5/6/2024?
- What were every transaction for Item: #????? during that period (Receiving, usage, etc.)?
- Can we demonstrate control of that item #????? (Widget) or not? Did we consume more than we stated? Does our inventory properly reflect usage, or not?
This is a common audit that is often needed to show regulatory compliance and/or compliance to a standard like organic, grass-fed, certified sustainable.
