Contract renewal troubleshoot no Contract Item

Hello all,

We've sold a 12-month software product license and this is renewed. I've created Sales Order at the start with the Item and the system generated a contract with end date 31/12/2023. The contract is manually renewed. When I renewed the contract today (yes a bit late) with an contract uplift of 1%, the new contract did not include any Contract Items. A Sales Order was created but with an incorrect amount.

How can I ensure that the correct amount is on the Sales Order? And if a have to renew at the end of 2024, how do I ensure that the Contract Items are included?
