How can we send Sales Order Acknowledgments to the customer and to their sales rep, automatically?

Our Sales Order acknowledgments, once saved, are automatically sent to the primary email in the customer record. We'd also like the customer sales rep to be CC'd on the Sales Order email. Is there a fairly easy way to modify the email template to include the sales rep email address too?
