Creating a search that only pulls in the last update 'date' for purchase price on an inventory item

I am trying to create a search to use in a workflow. However, I am not having much success so hope you all can help me again.

I need the search to provide me with the inventory item and the last time the purchase price was updated only. I did pull from system notes but do not need all times it update, just the last.
