NetSuite OneWorld – Subsidiary Configuration for Single Entity
We have a NetSuite OneWorld account, but currently, we only operate with a single legal entity (subsidiary), and there are no plans to add additional subsidiaries in the near future.By default, a new blank NetSuite OneWorld account includes a “Parent Company” subsidiary. Given our structure, my question is:
Do we need to create a separate actual subsidiary under the existing Parent Company, or can we simply rename the default Parent Company to reflect our legal entity, since we don’t have multiple subsidiaries?
What is the recommended best practice in NetSuite for setting up the subsidiary structure when the customer has only one legal entity and is using a OneWorld account?
