How can I stop Estimate overwriting the Start Date of a customer record if one already exists?
Hi all,
On the customer record is the Start Date field, this field gets automatically filled in when an estimate or opportunity is created for the customer for the first time. However, some times we fill this field in manually.
The issue I seem to have is that if I fill the field in manually and 2 weeks later the first estimate is created for the customer, it overwrites the field with the date of the first estimate.
However, I'm pretty sure this only happens for the first estimate and doesn't keep updating for each new estimate after.
Here is another example, the customer record updated the Start Date from 31/07 to 08/08
