Can a workflow set a custom field value to null when it has a with a default selection?
We have a custom workflow for PO approvals. On the PO form I have built a custom field on to include the name of the employee approving the transaction. The name is pulled from the Employee record through a List/Record Type.
The custom field includes the name of the employee under Validation & Defaulting>Default Selection. I want the workflow to make this field null when the PO form is loaded. Some approvers only apply if the PO is above a certain dollar amount. Is this possible?
I am including the employees as defaults in the custom field because I have not found a way to have the field populate based on the PO total.
