Permission Violation

I have run into an issue and I have not been able to resolve it with suggestions that are similar. After the latest update, we have a number of employees running into an issue on the customer dashboard. In the past these employees could see proposals on the dashboard. Now they are receiving a permissions violation needing a higher level of permissions Transactions → Invoices. They already have permission to view this. I don't want to give them the ability to anything more than view.
