Suite Project : Planned Work vs. Estimated Work in NetSuite

Hello,
We are looking for feedback and user experience regarding the use of Planned Work vs. Estimated Work in NetSuite.

Our goal is to plan project resources in a detailed way by leveraging resource allocations at the task level. To do this we have unchecked the planned work feature

We have observed the following impacts:

  • Project scheduling is manual. NetSuite shows dependencies but does not prevent dependency violations. It makes sense.
  • "Schedule as Late as Possible" no longer seems to be available.
  • Task start and end dates are calculated automatically, taking into account resource allocations and approved timesheets. This can lead to unexpected recalculations of task end dates.

Howdy, Stranger!
