Please note that on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 8:00 PM Pacific time, our Case Management System will undergo a scheduled maintenance for approximately 4 hours. During this time, case creation via SuiteAnswers will be unavailable and inbound calls will be routed to Customer Service.
Is it possible to restrict access to NetSuite every night?
We would like to prohibit users from logging in and entering transactions every night.
The reason is that multiple integrations with external systems take place overnight, and therefore we want to strictly prevent users from creating or editing new transactions during that period.
In our current (non-NetSuite) system, once a certain time is reached, users are either unable to log in to the system at all, or the menus disappear, effectively blocking all transaction data entry.
(This request comes from our business users.)
My understanding is as follows:
NetSuite does not allow the system itself to be “stopped.”
It is not possible to have menus automatically disappear every night.
