Management of Items out on loan

Hi,

We have products (inventory items), which are loaned out to other entities, and are then returned to us.

We do not charge anything when items are loaned out, so there is no financial movements.

Currently we are forced using a 3rd party software with capabilities of tracking each loaned item, keeping also a record of the entity who has it, as in:

Item1, out on loan to Entity A

Item2, out on loan to Entity B

and so on..

when an item is returned, we would close the document.

Can something similar being achieved with NS?

We can't simply use a Transfer Order or Inventory Transfer to a different Inventory Location, as NetSuite does not track which entity is currently in posses of each specific item, so it would be impossible to track it.

Howdy, Stranger!
