Rolling Trial Balance – Handling Period End Journals and Retained Earnings
Hi Everyone,
We are building a Rolling Trial Balance in NetSuite and want to ensure it aligns with the GL report when Period End Mode is enabled.
During our period close, NetSuite automatically posts period-end journal entries that move the balances from income and expense accounts to retained earnings. As a result, when running the GL in Period End Mode, income and expense accounts start at 0 in the new fiscal year, and retained earnings reflects the prior year net income.
What would be the best approach to ensure a Rolling Trial Balance (Saved Search or SuiteAnalytics Workbook) reflects the same behavior and correctly includes these
