New to NetSuite | Transaction Permission > Customer Refund Permission
As part of our ongoing New to NetSuite series, we’ve previously explored the New to NetSuite | Permissions and delved into the New to NetSuite | Permissions > Transaction Subtab.
In this article, we will focus on one specific and powerful permission within this category: Customer Refund
This permission lets a user work with Customer Refunds, which are used to return money to a customer (for example, refunding an overpayment or paying out an unused customer credit).
It includes:
- Access to the Customer Refunds task (work with refund transactions)
- Access to Issue Customer Refund (create/issue a refund)
- Access to Search Customer Refunds (find and review refunds)
