Run Allocation Schedule Automatically
Hi,
We have a use case involving over 50 allocation schedules. We are looking for a way to run them in bulk rather than individually. Currently, even with the frequency set to monthly or hourly, the standard system still requires users to manually click the 'Create Journal Entry' button.
We tried using Allocation Batches as a workaround, but we encountered a limitation: if a single schedule within the batch has no amount to allocate, the entire batch fails.
I've reviewed some community threads regarding the possibility of running these schedules via script
. Could someone provide guidance on whether a scripted solution is actually feasible, or let me know if there is another workaround I might have missed? Thanks in advance!
