Understanding Express Entry Limits for Serial Numbers in NetSuite (Need Confirm & Best Practice)
Hi NetSuite Community,
I would like to share my testing results regarding the Express Entry feature for Inventory Details/Serial Numbers (SNs) in NetSuite and would appreciate confirmation or any additional insights from others.
My Testing Findings:
- Express Entry Input Limit
- Each Express Entry input is limited to 1,000 characters
- This limit includes all characters such as:
- Commas
- Spaces
- Line breaks
- Serial Number (SN) Character Limit
- Each Serial Number is limited to 100 characters
- If an SN exceeds 100 characters:
- The system will only take the first 100 characters
- The remaining characters will be truncated/omitted
- System Behavior When Limit is Exceeded
- Error Message:
