NetSuite 2026.1 - User Event Script Not Firing on Project Task When Updated via "Add/Edit Tasks in
NetSuite 2026.1 - Does the new "Add/Edit Tasks in Bulk" feature trigger User Event scripts on Project Task?
Hi all,
We're looking at adopting the new "Add/Edit Tasks in Bulk" inline editing feature introduced in 2026.1 for Project Tasks, but we've hit a potential blocker.
We have a User Event script attached to the Project Task record that handles some business logic when tasks are updated. When testing the new bulk edit feature, the UE does not appear to fire - beforeSubmit and afterSubmit are both silent in the script execution logs.
The UE works fine when saving a project task individually through the standard form, so the issue seems specific to the new bulk edit pathway.
