Hi Hazel No matter how a new lead/customer is created - the campaign subscription categories remain unchecked. The only difference seems to be that sometimes you can go to the marketing tab and check them manually - sometimes they are greyed out (I think may be if a customer has gone through the checkout) - in which case…

Hi Mat I'm still confused. My post above relates to campaign subscription categories not being automatically checked. This seems completely different to your helpful reply about using online forms to forward a campaign to a friend. In the UK, netsuite works differently to eslewhere in as much as when a new record is…

Hi I'd like to be able to do this, but I did not understand the Wizards instructions - any chance you could give a bit more of a detailed explanation many thanks Andy

Hi Apparentl;y Bluebridge One has amended an unsubscribe script - priced I believe at £99. ( +44 1932 300 000 (T) ( Skype: dan.booth1 ( +44 7790 334 846 (M) * dbooth@bluebridgeone.co.uk Let me know how you get on with it or if you find a better solution. Thanks Andy

Hi At the ernd of last year I noticed that our email bounces jumped up to around 28%, they had crept up from 19% to 22% before that. I implemented a campaign domain, and DKIM and for what its with campaign subscription categories. This brought the bounced rate down to more like 21-23%, which is still higher than I beleive…

What is a subscription category? Thx Andy

Hi I'd be wary of this. We get a lot of soft bounces, which later on start receiving emails again. It may well depend on the content of the email, from email address etc & spam filters. My feeling is that you are best to export the Detailed Campiagn Report, work out which emails are consistently not being delivered, import…

Hi David I run the UK version and have no problems with executing marketing campaigns (admittedly on the hour). As Ray said, you can save the marketing template, and so long as you have checked the box on the marketing tab of the template, you will receive a test email straight away. As for why the campaigns are not…

Hi The way I do this kind of thing is a bit laborious, but does work. That is to export the Campaign Detail report to a spreadsheet. You can use a date range to reduce the amount of data. Then look to see which customers have been 'sent' a particular campaign, or have received or opened it. Then I use the CSV import to…

HI Ray. Thanks, I had already read this posting. It did not seem to include a solution - certainly not one I was looking for with any level of automation anbd being able to apply campaigns/scripts to individual Leads/Customers when they are created As several others pointed a out - this area of Netsuite is sadly lacking. I…

Hi Sion I went to the Microsoft Forum that you suggested. I found a load of other people with the same question/problem and no resolution being offered. Does anybody else have any ideas? Thanks Andy

Thanks Sion

HI Sion Thanks for the thought - I sometimes wish that I were. Unfortunately, I share an ISDN line, so I have an always on dial up connection - no corporate network. [No broadband in the middle of rural Austria either). I guess it is possible that this setting resides on the router that I share. I'm not super technical, so…

I am replying to myself here! Interestingly, I have realised that I can Create a Saved Search from a Group (seems odd when I may have created the Group from a Saved Search) and I can chaneg the view of the Saved Search.

Hi Ray Thanks for this. As I am accessing Netsuite over ISDN (no broadband out in the sticks in Austria) - I have swapped to Firefox as my browser and this seems to have solved the problem on editing lists. Cheers Andy

Hi Tgis was already covered ion another posting. The suggestion from Evan was: For those already experienced in programming the O'Reilly book "javascript: The Definitive Guide" is good. Or there is the low price option: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp Web Development > Scripting > Microsoft Windows Script…

Hi Rex I am not super technical, so may be this will help or may be not...... There do appear to be variables that can be accessed as parameters e.g. ¤cy and ¤cykey here are soem notes that I have collated that may help or give you some clues: Andy <form id="currency_form" name="currency_form" method="get"…

Hi Rob Thanks for this. My understanding is that by doing what you suggest, it will add the metatags to all our pages. I do not want to do this as (i) I have already defined metatags for descriptions & keywords for our tabs, categories and items, (ii) I want different keywords and descriptions for each page of our site -…

Hi This is a seemingly crazy aspect of Netsuite. It only matches on the domain name, i.e. what comes after the @. This means that it supplies potential matches for whoever has the same ISP/email supplier. Occasionally, it won't match the same email address on diferent records - I don't always see why. Changing the…

Hi Thanks Rex. Great advice. I had not fully appreciated the relationship between the Welcome Tab and our home page. Our web developers told us that the home page was fully customised and that we had no content management control over it - which I can now see is not entirely true. Cheers Andy

Hi Netsuite automatically replaces any spaces or punctuation marks with a '-' in the descriptive URL Andy
-
Hi This is how we have been advised to set it up. You don't need to enter any HTML. The description should stand alone (on its own) as a description of the page/product. I am sure there will be SEO rules about this too in respect of keywords & repetition.... Andy: <meta http-equiv="Content-Language" CONTENT="en-us"> <meta…

Hi I was shocked to be informed recently that we had not got any meta tags for description or keywords on our home page. The home page was custom scripted by our web developer (an experienced Netsuite partner) - they knew we were keen to have SEO on all the pages - especialy the Home Page - I assumed they had implemented…

Hi I am a bit confuised by your posting. We create our Descriptive URLs manually in the URL Component field within Tabs, Categories & Items & Information Items i.e: URL Component TONY-NICKI-PRODUCTS URL Component Relationship-Solutions-for-Men-in-a-Relationship-LISTEN URL Component…

Hi Mark I have just posted a request on this forum asking if anyone can help me to automatically fill in a custom date field on a customer record when an online customer form is submitted. It seems as though you are working on such scripts. I know nothng about scripts - any help/examples would be really helpful. I want to…

Hi Cindy Welcome to the learrning curve!! You might want to go to the 'Access' tab on your customer's record, give them access to the Customer Centre and clcik the box that says send notification email (I don't bother with this). I am not sure where you chaneg the notification email text. You may also wish to consider…

Hi I asked Netsute support about this & got the answer that unless the Lead or Customer logs in under their existing email address & password if they have one, then when they register as a customer in the shopping cart/checkout it will create a duplicate record. This is to protect any personal information/credit card…

Hi We have a nice looking newsletter. It is a template that was designed by our netsuite web designers (Grpoxy). We do experience some problems with it in some of the online email readers (as opposed to Outlook). May be it needs to use just line styles (as suggested above). <link…

Me again. I was thinking of posting a suggestion that some of us get to gether to form a benchmarking and trouble shooting group. From your join date, it looks like you are quite new (either a new installation, or a new employee). I certainly think that we can learn more from each other than we do on this User Forum (good…

HI Christopher Thanks - this looks really helpful. As we are not long live, this is a job still on my to-do list, so should come in really handy. Keep 'em coming! Andy
