Workflow Buttons
We're getting into the swing of using Workflows, and took NetSuite's 3 day training, so we would be able to hit the ground running.
...And we found we stumbled over WF buttons, and how limited they are. All the can trigger is a transition! Sure, we can hack around to make most things work, but it adds so many extra steps - both to the WF in general, which can get quite complicated, but also in building the WF, as we have to add another state, and another transition, and redo any rules that need to exist in every state.
We'd love it if it were possible to use a button press to trigger other things, without having to transition to a new state. Essentially, if a button press were treated as being similar to "After Field Edit" or the like.
