Case Number and Case Internal ID confusion
We have a workflow which is initiated form a Button on a Case. The intention is to create a Sales Order which is linked back to the Case via a customer field on the Transaction Body.
Things work well up to the point where the workflow populates the Case field on the Transaction Body.
When this field is populated by a user in the normal course of creating a SO via the UI, they type in the Case Number, the lookup happens and we can happily save the SO and see that it relates to a Customer's case.
When the workflow populates the same field, the number is treated as the 'internalid' of the cases and the field populates with the incorrect case.
