Calculating a Date

I need to add a formula to a workflow step that finds the last day of the month and adds 45 days to it.  It's for calculating a new due date on an invoice.

For example, if the invoice date is July 12, then add 45 days to July 31.  Result: September 14.

How would that calculation look?
