Help create a workflow to copy data from one field to another

Hello,

I don't know where to start.

I have a custom field called ConNote#. This appears on my item fulfillment form and on my sales order form. When we populate the "ConNote#:Item Fulfillment" field and press save, it doesn't flow across to the "ConNote#:Sales Order" field where the invoice is created from and printed on the invoice to the customer.

I would like to create a workflow to copy on save the text in the "ConNote#:Item Fulfillment" to the "ConNote#:Sales Order" field.

Can someone please explain how I do this?
