Onsite / Omniture / Netsuite and Guided Navigation
I am way behind in posting this accounting of Sailrite's experiences with guided navigation and building a website that uses the best of Netsuite combined with Omniture's (now a Adobe company) search and merchandising. To my knowledge we are the very first to attempt such a marriage.
The website is www.sailrite.com and the process to build the site took about five months (a good deal of the time was work on Sailrite's end creating the look of the site and a new category structure). After that Onsite (consultants and wizards of Netsuite customization --- they also have a very functional POS system that is seamless with Netsuite) started the actual build of the site and the programming of special features. Some notables are the ability to add fabric samples to the cart, the stay on the page feature when adding products, the tidbit email sign up, the large image viewer,
