Different Historical Rates within One Subsidiary
We have a Canadian subsidiary (CAD1) who is acquiring another Canadian subsidiary (CAD2). There is a cash/equity transaction taking place on CAD1 that needs to be booked and stay at a spot rate determined on 2/8/17. The cash will translate based on the current rate at the end of the month and the equity account is set to use historical rate. However, our historical rate for this entity is already determined based on our January RE balance.
