Usability defects
If anyone heading up QA is out there....would you please, please explain the concept of a usability defect to support, and also clarify it to your testing team? Then take a look at case #650393.
And just to be clear as to what I mean, here is MY definition of a usability defect: generally speaking it is a problem that impacts the user's ability to understand and use the application as intended. Specifically, it can include problems with navigation, the number of steps required to complete a process or function, inconsistencies in how a task/function is performed in different areas of the application, ambiguous or contradictory user messages and help documentation....etc.
