Usergroup search function

I did a search in this user group for 'sql' and also 'SQL' (don't think case matters) I also in the advanced search changed the options from searching the title only to searching the contents of the post - I came up with no results. I then entered my post about SQL and using formulae in searches and then searched for the text sql and it still didn't come up - surely I'm not the only one who has ever put the text 'sql' into a post?

What have I done wrong in searching for that text?
