Cannot Prevent Duplicate Customers on Web
We use the WSDK option (Setup, Web Site Setup, Setup tab, under Preferences), meaning we use NetSuite to register customers and process the Shopping Cart. This seems to mean we do not have access to the "Online Form" where there is a setting that can be used to prevent the registering of duplicate customers. There is an enhancement request for this (173028).
But has anyone come up with a work-around to allow a WSDK implementation prevent the registering of duplicate customers such as by creating server-side script?
