Reports not matching

I've just pulled an Income Statement and a Trial Balance for the entire year.  They don't tie.  The TB ties to the Balance Sheet though.  All of the accounts are on both reports and I verified that I'm pulling the same date ranges.  It looks like the Income Statement isn't pulling all of the transactions for many accounts.  I thought that maybe it had to do with prior years balances are being included but that doesn't look to be the case.  Any ideas on how to fix???
