Get Tax Rate

Is it possible to get a customer's tax rate?

I've tried calculating it by dividing the summary tax total by the summary subtotal, but rounding was an issue since the original subtotal * the tax rate was probably rounded to get the tax total to 2 decimal places.

Any advice is appreciated
