SCA Denali / MontBlanc: Redirect single search result to product detail page

The default behavior for the site search function (when clicking the Go button), is to display the search results view. This is regardless of how many items are returned by the search. The web site visitor clicks on an item in the search results view to display the product detail page for that item, When only a single item is returned by the site search, I'd like to bypass the search results view altogether and automatically display the product detail page view for the item, saving the web site visitor a click. Can anyone give a hint at what needs
