Suppose my footer says Copyright 2017 and I want to update it to 2018. I believe there are three ways to do it: [LIST=1]
[*]Update directly in the template file
[*]Update the config record
[*]Update via the site management tools
[/LIST] Which of the above takes precedence? I ask because I would like a deeper understanding.

Also, where do my content updates via the site management tools get stored? Is it in a custom record? In the file cabinet?
