Possible to control display order of matrix item options in PDP?

It seems that product detail pages display matrix item options in the order in which they were created in the backend - is there any known method to manually sort what order these appear in on the PDP?

We are running a pre-denali SCA, I'm thinking there could be some parameters I could add to the configuration.js file?
