Did you know that Employee Center Dashboard Publishing allows users with the correct permission to create Company News? This feature is available when your account gets updated to 2018.1.

When the Employee Center Dashboard Publishing is enabled, you must be assigned a role that includes the News Item permission. By default, the News Item permission is included in the following NetSuite roles, with the full access level:
