Ray Tetlow (skyytek.com) and I drifted onto this topic in another thread:
Lack of Proper Development/Test Environment
First, I would ask one of the NSUG moderators to move the appropriate posts from the above thread to this thread.
Second, after having reviewed the skyytek.com web site (particularly the white papers), I believe that Ray and I are in closer agreement than our posts might suggest.
Essentially, I agree that the approach to implementing business process in NetSuite should be:

[*]Careful review of existing business processes, and modify where appropriate. Worst case is to implement a bad process in an automated system.
