Dynamic dates for saved reports and searches

I pull reports all the time for TTM (trailing twelve months).  Two challenges I face are:

1) There is no dynamic date field for last twelve months so I have to manually select them. I would like to see a dynamic date selector = TTM which would set the dates to the last twelve months offset by one period ie (if run today, March 23, 2007 the report would set dates to Mar 06 – Feb 07) This would also help in web queries! Now I have to pull are report each time I want one instead of updating my excel sheet.

2) When I select the dates it pulls in my adjusting period which skews my data analysis. Therefore I am forced to dump my data into excel and delete the adjusting period column. I would like to see a check box to include adjusting period or not.
